Explore Commencement Bay & the Southern Puget Sound aboard the M/V Doolin Rogers! Don’t miss this unique opportunity to explore Washington’s geology from the water, hosted by Dr. Kathleen Troost.

Details:

Time: 2:30pm – 6:00pm (boarding at 2:30pm, departure at 3:00pm sharp)

Boarding Location: Foss Waterway Seaport (705 Dock Street, Tacoma WA, 98402)

What’s included: 2.5 hour scenic cruise captained by Vernon Moore, with a geological-themed voyage plan and light snacks provided by Carr’s Catering.

What to bring: Weather appropriate layers, closed-toed shoes, sun protection, (optional: binoculars, other preferred non-alcoholic beverages/snacks)

Parking/Directions:

Paid Parking: Foss Waterway Seaport, $2 per 2 hours (pay by phone)

Free Parking: By availability, public street parking

Dock access: Use the white gangway from the parking lot, staff will be on-site to assist
