2022 Symposium Summary

The 2022 Symposium, our first since the COVID-19 pandemic, was held at the Hotel Murano in Tacoma, Washington, May 10-12, 2022.

Thank you to all who contributed to the success of this biennial Symposium, which attracted 200 registrants. Eighteen Sponsors and Exhibitors displayed their cutting edge technology and offered information on licensing and available resources. 

Field trips to Lake Tapps and the Elwha River Restoration site kicked off the Symposium on Monday, followed by two days of presentations, panels, posters, and keynote speakers. The Symposium was followed by a day of workshops on Washington State Water Law and Water Rights, using Python in Hydrogeology, and an overview of the ModelMuse software. 

Participants had the opportunity to network with colleagues at the Tuesday evening reception, the two lunches, refreshment breaks, and a fantastic raffle with extraordinary prizes. Scholarships were also awarded to accomplished students in Washington State.
